Brixen was formed in 2019 by Alexander D’Orazio and Andrew Iacobelli.
The partnership confirmed their common values – commitment to quality, desire to build communities, and the underlying belief that people come first.
Brixen is determined to integrate these values into each project. Together, Alexander and Andrew hold over 20 years of residential development and construction knowledge. Each of their developments are delivered within budget and within promised schedules without sacrificing their core values.
Alexander D’Orazio has been building high-rise condominiums for well over a decade and has been personally involved in building more than 5,000 units throughout different stages of development and construction.
Alexander is responsible for the oversight of all development approvals and construction activities at Brixen Developments. Alexander brings a wealth of knowledge to the design/development of each high-rise project and ensures that the execution of each development is achieved with the highest standards. He has proven success in leadership and management of various stakeholders and teams, the design/development process, municipal approvals, construction budgeting and scheduling, contract procurement, construction management, health & safety and customer care.
Alexander graduated from the Architectural Studies program at George Brown College and earned a Project Management degree at Ryerson University. Alexander also obtained his Certified Engineer Technologist (C.E.T.) credentials in 2013 and his Project Management Professional (PMP) credentials in 2015.
Andrew Iacobelli has worked in the industry for nearly a decade as a managerial consultant, owners rep and as an independent investor. Andrew is responsible for the corporate side of the business, handling site acquisition, deal structuring, financing, sales and marketing and office operations.
He holds an Engineering degree from the University of Toronto, and went on to obtain his Professional Engineering designation before returning to his passion in the development and construction industry. Prior to Brixen, Andrew played a key role in the development of various residential and commercial real estate projects around the GTA and in the United States.
With a Master of Business Administration, his other career passions are building companies, building relationships and building a brand. Andrew brings a wealth of experience and relationships to the partnership as well as a strong desire to change the status quo of the industry by regarding each and every stakeholder as a partner and committing to a mutually beneficial outcome on every project. He holds a private pilots license, currently sits as the Chair of the Board of a local Long-Term Care home and is involved with numerous other charitable organizations.
